Double Bowl
Since 1992 digital technologies have taken an ever-increasing part of my professional practice. I fuse these with traditional silversmithing techniques and take advantage of computers at the concept, making and production stage. The making takes place in the virtual workshop on the computer, while the actual production is handed over to a machine based process, in this case Rapid Prototyping. I am drawn to the high level of symmetry and precision inherent in this combination of techniques and processes.

Space between 2002
Controlled by light moving through the atmosphere, reflections on water are continually changing. As our line of sight extends, as the light dims and the breeze subtly changes direction, the mirror image distorts, dissolving in a moment only to reappear in the next.
