About the AuthorSuzie AttiwillAuthor of: UntitledJune 2004 Suzie Attiwill is a senior lecturer in Interior Design at the School of Architecture and Design, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. In this role she coordinates the history/theory program and the postgraduate program. Suzie also maintains an independent practice which involves the design of exhibitions, curatorial work, writing and working on a range of interdisciplinary projects in Australia and overseas. Suzie is currently enrolled in a doctorate in interior design at RMIT - her project is titled An interior history. From 1996 to 1999, she was the artistic director of Craft Victoria. Suzie is the invited curator for the forthcoming 16th Tamworth Fibre Textile Biennial, a national touring exhibition due to open at Tamworth City Gallery late 2004. Her curatorial theme is Temporality and textiles as material event; the exhibition is called A matter of time. |
