Australian Craft and Design Centres (ACDC)

The Australian Craft and Design Centres (ACDC) produces an occasional bulletin reporting significant outcomes in the contemporary craft and design sector made possible by the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy (VACS).

The Visual Arts and Craft Strategy (VACS) is a joint government response to the Contemporary Visual Arts and Craft Inquiry Report (the Myer Report), undertaken for the Australian Government by Rupert Myer in 2001-03. VACS is a comprehensive four year investment by the Australian, State and Territory governments.
