Project springboard: entrepreneurship for designers

Successful applicants - stage two

Seventeen Australian designers across textiles, fashion, furniture, lighting, product and object design have been selected from around the country to participate in Stage Two of the project Springboard. To be eligible for Stage Two of the program, designers had participated in Stage One and could demonstrate that they were capable of implementing some of the core objectives of the Springboard program – the development of sustainable design skills and entrepreneurial business acumen.

Springboard stage one, a mentoring program, enabled 100 of Australia's most promising furniture, textiles, accessories and homewares designers to develop their professional careers in local and international markets. Project springboard is a partnership initiative of the Australia Council aimed at assisting and developing the careers of Australian designers.
