Creatae Locally Sell Globally

Home-based business people from interstate and across NSW came to Sydney last November for the first-ever NSW Government workshop for the craft and design industry.

The Create Locally, Sell Globally home-based business workshop attracted nearly 120 people from as far afield as Coconut Grove in the Northern Territory and Yorkey's Knob in Queensland.

The workshop focused on the importance of internet marketing and writing for the web - both essential business skills for smart artists.

Feedback received from participants was overwhelmingly positive in relation to the topics covered and the presenter's delivery, with 97 per cent of respondents indicating that they would implement what they had learnt in their business.

Following the success of the seminar, additional workshops on topics of interest such as business planning, financial management and exporting will be offered.
